People who wanted to join Netflix have been experiencing chaos due to some uncertainties in the new membership plan after the password sharing ban.

Netflix's plan to ban "membership sharing" has started in some countries. Netflix, which has been in a downward trend in the number of subscribers and a serious depreciation in its shares, has decided to ban membership sharing to overcome this crisis. The US-based company wanted to activate this plan as soon as possible and has started to ban membership sharing in certain regions.

Netflix has started enforcing this ban in Costa Rica, Chile, and Peru. However, in the US media, it was stated that there was uncertainty and disagreement between users and Netflix employees on this issue. Netflix, which prohibits sharing passwords and memberships in these countries, made it obligatory to pay 2 to 3 dollars local currency equivalent in these countries in order to include each new user in the same subscription. Netflix's decision, which prohibits users who do not live in the same house and using the same subscription, got big reaction in Peru.

THERE IS UNCERTAINTY IN THE PROHIBITION

According to the Business Insider, it was stated that it is unclear for public institutions how to determine "who live in the same house" in Costa Rica, Peru and Chile. In Peru, the consumer rights agency told how Netflix would identify 'inhabitants' had not been clarified. After that Netflix explained, 'Millions of members actively use joint accounts in these countries. These people received e-mails.'
